“Start before you’re ready.”
— Probably a productivity dude on YouTube
This website has been years in the making. Literally. I’ve bought this domain twice now, and only just got around to actually using it. Paid the fee for 24 months and all that, only to park the domain like a fool. That’s elite-level procrastination right there.
Took me three years and several false starts, but hey... to quote Nik Makino, we made it.

So... why even bother making this site after all this time?
Here are the three main reasons.
1. A space of my own on the internet
As someone in tech, this just makes sense. A personal site is one of the best things you can do for your career.
Lately I’ve been browsing job ads, and a lot of them either ask for or prefer candidates with portfolio sites. That wasn’t the case back when I started. A decent resume was enough. Now, it feels like everyone is expected to have a little corner of the web.
So here’s mine.
2. A tool for self-improvement
Most of my hobbies are practical. Things that, if I stayed consistent, would genuinely improve my life. The problem is I’m not great at staying consistent.
That’s why I added a habit tracker to this site. Something simple and visual. I got the idea from an app I used to use, which said seeing your streak motivates you not to break it. It’s true. At least until you forget to open the app for a week.
This way, I can build it into something I actually want to use. And maybe stick with it this time.
3. A proper archive of me
I’m 29 now, and I’ve lived a lot of versions of myself. The younger me, the code-obsessed me, the band guy, the person who almost moved to another country. It’s hard to keep track sometimes.
Every now and then I find myself scrolling through old memories, trying to piece it all together. So I thought, why not organize it properly? Why not give those versions of me a place to live?
And maybe someday, my future kids will read this and see who their dad really was. What he cared about. What he tried to build. What he failed at. What he learned.
If they find something in it that helps them, even a little, then I’ll be happy.
This isn’t just a website. It’s my personal space, a place to track growth, and a quiet archive of everything I want to remember.
Hopefully, it’s just the beginning.
